Practitioner Fellowship

NBCF will provide a Practitioner Fellowship package of between 0.3 and 0.7 full time equivalent (FTE). The Practitioner Fellowship package will support the proportion of time specified by the applicant dedicated to the proposed research, with the remainder to be provided by the applicant’s clinical care and/or public health employer (e.g. hospital, primary care facility, government department). 

Cancer Research Leadership Fellowship 2016

The NBCF Breast Cancer Research Leadership Fellowship is the most prestigious NBCF Fellowship scheme intended to invest in future breast cancer leaders, and build research capacity in an area of clinical need in the breast cancer field with significant impact on patient outcomes within a five year timeframe.

Inspiring Women Fellowships

The inspiring women fellowships, funded by the State Government of Victoria, are designed to support female leaders who are planning for, experiencing, or returning from a career break.   

Medical Research Grants

Applications for specific research projects or equipment purchases for research into progressive neurological diseases, stroke and palliative care in 2016 for one year only.

Future Fellowships

Future fellowships encourage mid-career researchers to build collaborations across institutions and disciplines by conducting innovative research in areas that will result in economic, environmental, social, health or cultural benefits for Australia and strengthen Australia’s research capacity.

McKenzie Post-Doctoral Fellowships Program

McKenzie Postdoctoral Fellowship Scheme aims ​to attract outstanding recent doctoral graduates in areas of research priority for the university and its faculties, and in particular to recruit new researchers who have the potential to build and lead cross-disciplinary collaborative research activities inside and across faculties.
